Without rehashing everyting I said on the last Nightmarer announcement, I think that the transition from WFAHM to Nightmarer is one of the most like, music-y and exciting things I got to witness as a scene kid. Like by the time we got to Voyeur you can tell that WFAHM was goign more dissonant and brooding, so for the full switch to like a very European-styled tech death metal band just felt so right. I’ve been following all the Nightmarer stuff since it happened, and like, gettign to be a part of that trajectory was so huge for me. Just a mature band of insanely talented guys making some of the most insane modern death metal. You can’t say that too many modern contemporaries sound like Nightmarer - and this new album “HELL INTERFACE” widens the gap even more. It’s Nightmarer at their most dissonant and experimental! Its sopping wet and just drippy tone overload. Instrumentally it really seems to pull from more WFAHM roots but at Nightmarer packing and song length. And the vocals, well, you’re just going to have to listen! You’ll see what I mean!
I really do think the packaging on this is goign to be a huge highlight. Logo was once again done by Kai. Art was done by Jerome Oudot. So many panels of art across a huge gatefold insert. I love workign with Simon on stuff like this because he “gets it” and just puts up with my nonsense, haha,. I think it came out so sick. Will be the crown jewel of your Simon and Simon-adjacent vinyl collection!
Because Nightmarer have such a strong international fanbase, we’ve gone ahead and made sure that there is a store that will have European copies ate European prices and shipping. Total Dissonance Worship will have their own /100 variant that will be the “limited” variant for Europe as well as just an open preorder for there PVC. It will be the same PVC that I will be selling as my open preorder, but just fulfilled for Europe. Save a few bucks! But same as every WV title, once its done its done. No CDs, no tapes.
