I think it's just as stupid as you do, but I can’t stop. Like I have true millennial brain rot I can’t stop contextualizing things as Marvel analogies. Hunterverse? Iknow. And it's never going to get any better because I’m about to hit you with the type of Feige-ism that you’d expect from an after-credits scene. Like, this next band is the equivalent of Spider man showing up in that Captain America movie. A true screaming in the theater moment. I’m introducing a new WV power block and expanding thee universe - a starts today with Abrupt Decay! I promise I’ve always been this cringe just go with it!

I have to thank Doug Walker from Secretary for introducing me to this band a few years ago. Turns out that recommendation was some sort of diving rod that pointed me straight towards the most talented group of musicians maybe ever. Like, not only is Abrupt Decay absolutely insane, but all of the side project sin this universe really just continue to flex. We’ve got False Body. And AD are also the live [performance band for Killing of a Sacred Deer. More WV synergy baby! It’s all Oodelally and Colter and Canada and more more more! Ah!

As It Came for Me, So Shall It Come for You is absolutely one of the most emotive, abrasive and evocative EPs I’ve heard in the past.5 years. I missed AD on their run up, and its crazy that they’ve been putting out music of this caliber while toiling to so little fanfare. I think if you’re not sold on the first track of this EP then I don’t have anything else for ya! You’re telling me you’ve been following WV since the beginning and this flavor of spazzy tech isn’t for you? This isn’t evocative of early WV but with modern production and sensibilities? Are you not entertained??
